Matrix optical switch modules are core optical components that enable dynamic switching and routing of optical signals across multiple ports. They come in various product forms and serve different functional roles depending on the application field.
In optical communications, matrix optical switch modules are centered around optical switch matrices and serve as key building blocks for all-optical networks. They enable optical signal routing between any input and output ports, supporting dynamic optical path management, network fault protection switching, and flexible wavelength allocation. Our matrix optical switch modules feature low insertion loss, wide wavelength range, low crosstalk, high stability and reliability, and modular design. They are widely used in optical cross-connect (OXC) equipment, reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexing (ROADM) systems, supporting flexible networking and bandwidth scheduling in backbone optical networks, as well as fiber optic sensing applications.
We offer products with M×N port configurations, including 4×8, 4×16, 4×72, 8×16, 12×24, etc., as well as N×N port configurations such as 4×4, 16×16, 48×48, 64×64, 320×320, and more. Customization is supported. We provide both mechanical matrix optical switches and MEMS matrix optical switches for optical matrix cross-connection.
